The Concert
We are honored to have Roberta Flack, Boris Purushottama Grebenshikov, Samir Chatterjee, Kristin Hoffmann and other acclaimed classical, jazz and world musicians join us for this inaugural concert, dedicated to the music of one of the great visionaries of our time – Sri Chinmoy.

Boris Purushottama Grebenshikov Boris Purushottama Grebenshikov is a Russian music legend and has produced more than 50 albums since the formation of his legendary band Aquarium in 1972. In recent years his music has been heavily influenced by Eastern philosophy and incorporated a range of different styles, from folk and blues to ethnic translucent acoustics. In a prolific career that has spanned almost four decades, BG (Boris Purushottama Grebenshikov) has continued to enchant his audiences with new sounds and a lyrical language that has earned him the affectionate title “Poet Laureate of Russia”.
